AMREP Flow provides free of charge comprehensive training on
Basic theory of flow cytometry; including fluidics, optics and how data is generated.
Instrument operation; including correct start-up, shut-down and trouble shooting.
Sample preparation - good data generation is impossible without careful sample preparation. Geza and Michael are more than happy to discuss topics such as cell preparation and staining in order for you generate good data, and importantly, prevent wasting your time and money through poor sample preparation.
Training, culminating in licensing, is compulsory for all users of the analysis equipment. In addition, it has been supported that users who have a sound understanding of the concepts covered in training are better equiped to troubleshoot their own problems if they arise, and generally produce higher quality data.
Training is free, and a refresher session is always welcomed if you have not performed flow experiments in some time.
Geza & Michael are also happy to assist and guide you through use of an instrument if you have questions, provided you have done the inital traning.
