Access, Bookings & Charges
Bookings
Bookings can be made via the AMREP Flow booking sheet. Please be aware of the following:
All samples MUST be filtered before being run on any instrument to prevent blockages.
Please ensure you have the correct sample concentration prior to sorting - 1 x 10^7 cells / mL
Bookings for all analysis instruments can be made right up until the time of the booking & can be cancelled up until 24 hours before the required session.
Bookings for all InFlux & ARIA sorters must be made more than 24 hours before the intended sort time. If you require a sorter booking within 24 hours please contact AMREP Flow to ensure availability.
Cancellations - InFlux and ARIA sorters can be cancelled up to 72 hours before your booking. If you do not turn up to your booking you will still be charged. Last minute cancellations will only be exempt from charge in extreme circumstances. Please contact us in the case of any last minute cancellation.
If you want to cancel within 72 hours of your booking, you may find someone else to fill your spot from your own contacts or via the forum. AMREP Flow staff will assist where they are able to, but will not be responsible for pro-actively filling that time.
Influx and ARIA sorters are unavailable on all public holidays, including non-Monash observed: Labour Day, Queens Birthday & Melbourne Cup Day. Bookings on these days will not be honoured.
Please respect the booking sheet. Unbooked use of instruments will not be tolerated and those caught abusing the system risk having access revoked.
Like all labs, there is to be no food or drink in the flow labs. Please observe PC2 requirements at all times.
Hours of Operation
FACS ARIA and Influx
The FACS sorting instruments are available from 10am to 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, 10am to 4:30pm Friday. Monash users please note this excludes Victorian Public Holidays
Operation outside of this time may be possible by prior arrangement - please Contact Us for information.
FACS Calibur, Canto-II, LSR-II, LSR-Fortessa and Analysis Computers
These instruments are available to licensed users 24 hours 7 days a week.
